The holiday season events may be over, but this week is cause for another kind of important event – getting vaccinated for H1N1 influenza.
President Obama declared Jan. 10-16 National Influenza Vaccination Week, so U.S. HealthWorks is offering the H1N1 vaccine for only $15 per shot.
Although the media hype surrounding H1N1 has subsided, the risks still remain as we head into what is normally the peak flu season. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends vaccination as the first and most important step in protecting against the flu.
